My very first “adult” dress ;o) Interweave Crochet Summer 2018 features 19 stunning designs, and I am so happy to be in!

Let me introduce…

Coastal Tunic
Make this beautiful tunic in an open lace peacock pattern. Wear it with the tassels at the front or the back—however it fits best over your favorite swimsuit.

DIFFICULTY
Intermediate

FINISHED SIZE
30 (37.5, 45)“ bust circumference. Garment shown measures 30”, modeled with 2” negative ease.

YARN
DMC Natura Just Cotton (100% cotton; 170 yd / 1.75 oz): #86 brique, 4 (5, 7) balls.

HOOK
Size C/2 (2.75 mm). Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.

NOTIONS
Yarn needle; stitch markers, 7 (9, 11); 3.5” cardboard square, 1.

GAUGE
1 patt rep (26 sts and 14 rows) = 3.75” wide and 7” tall.

NOTES
Tunic is worked in one piece in turned rounds from hem up to armhole, then front and back are worked separately and shoulders are seamed.

Fabric is very stretchy and given measurements are with garment laid flat.

After seeing a dozen unfinished patterns this morning, I noticed that all stitch diagrams have been drawn long time ago, but practically all patterns are still without written instructions… 

And I thought, what if add to my patterns a kind of patterns with stitch diagram and short explaining if needed only?! I know, it is not a typical pattern style here, and sure written instruction will be finished as soon as possible. Everything is still in development, but I did a little sample for you as I see it and offer you the Orchid Motif pattern.

Friday the 13th is still better than Monday the whatever. Do you think so?! ;o)

Oh my, where to start…

Well, I received a tons of emails with request to make Fluffy Clouds Blanket in any custom size (up to fit king size bed) and not only in square shape. I was so happy to schedule a whole week and I designed, make it and even take the photos of new version of Fluffy Cloud Blanket called Cherry Blossom! Not to mention that I also planed to finish the pattern this week and release it right for my $2.14 Deals. And math worked perfectly for my sample rectangular blanket. BUT I still dealing with drawing border stitch diagram… I can’t believe that math doesn’t work on the corners (I still have an extra stitch on each of 2 corners), but I will definitely nailed it.
