Both, turquoise and lime bags bottoms are consist of 3 pieces: two crochet part and plastic insert in between.
It holds shape well, even with 3-5 bottles of water in the bag. But sure, for market bag it can be made with just one bottom-layer.

⁉️What would you prefer: one or 3 layers of bottom?
