  14. As others have said, would love the top to match!! I already have yard for it!! Hope it will be along soon–it is the best top I have seen from you!! Thanks so much and keep them coming!!

  15. What age of child should this fit? This is an absolutely adorable hat and I’d like to make it for my granddaughter, but she’s only 4 months old. Something to stash for days to come!

    Thanks for sharing.

  16. Kathy, pattern is for 18M up to adult size (made with Pantos Grace or Catania cotton). For size 4M I would recommend use baby sport yarn or any thinner yarn to get a smaller size.

    Thank you,
    Alla

  17. I just finished making this cap! It came out sooo beautiful! Your patterns are so awsome, I love your work!

Your vintage rose cap is beautiful Are you the designer of the top the model is wearing? I would love to have that pattern as well. Also, have you created a spring/summer crochet dress pattern? Your designs are so beautiful, that I am certain any dress you designed would be beautiful and I would be very interested in it. I would be very interested in the top, too. Thanks for your designs.

  21. very nice. unfortunately i could not get a download. keep
getting a message error saying the file was damaged. is there
anyway for me to get this file? can someone send it to me as an
attachment perhaps in .pdf or .rtf format? if so i will send my
    email address.

  22. beautiful hat, can’t wait give it a try. thank you so much for such a fabulous pattern

  24. i would love the pattern to the top that has the same colour hat if possible please

  25. I am making the beautiful little Vintage Rose hat. It has turned out perfectly until I reached round 8. I am confused about the 3 sc’s right at the beginning. When I did those stitches and came around to slip stitch at the end it didn’t look right. I put the stitches in the very first chain 2 which is immediately after the slip stitch on the row I had just finished. Can anyone help me understand this stitch. I have made lots of blankets but this is my first hat. Thanks!!!

  26. I also love the hat pattern and would like the top pattern! Is there any way I would be able to get! Thanks so much for sharing your patterns=:)

  27. I made it to Rnd 9 and things began to get a little muddy for me. I’m not sure if I need to do the 2dc,ch1,2dc in each chain 1 space or the middle ch1 spc. For some reason my hat keeps getting wider and wider so I wonder where I went wrong. Am starting over and trying again to see if I missed something. Also, in order to do a childs hat do I skip Rnd 14-16 and jump to the All Sizes instructions? Can’t wait to see how this turns out. I have several teenage girls who are anxiously awaiting a new hat!

  28. This pattern is so beautiful. I have gotten to where I only have about 10 rounds left and what I have looks like a big doily, no decreases that I could see to make it hat-like. What have I done wrong? Thank you so much for any help. I don’t want to undo what I have done because it’s so pretty and I’m hoping I can fix it.

  29. I love this pattern. Thanks to share such a gorgeous pattern with me,I’ll try to make one for my little baby..

  30. [...] eine Weile wollte ich das Vintagehauberl von My little Citygirl ausprobieren. Für Sophies Geburtstag hatte ich dann auch mal einen Grund [...]

  31. What a beautiful hat and I would like to make it for my daughter however I keep getting hung up on rnd 3…..when I skip 2 stitches I have only 8 dc/2c …what the heck am I doing wrong???? I am fine with the number of stitches in rnd 2 and if I only skip 1 in rnd 3 I have the right number but then the hat tends to get too big. I consider myself and experianced crochet and knitter I just can’t seem to figure this one out….has any one else had this problem???

  32. Beautiful. Thanks for sharing.

  33. I love this pattern, and those little rosebuds will sure look cute on it, or even the butterfly.

  34. Ellora Kirsten D. Basilla

i love the hat super nice!!!!!!!!!1

  35. I love this pattern, but it is too big for my seven month old granddaughter. Is there an infant pattern?

  36. Thank you Darlene! I do not have this pattern in infant size, but you can easily use the thinner yarn to make right size. Does it make sense?!

  37. I also unable to download the pattern, can anyone send it to me? char0823@msn.com. Thank you …char

  38. Your designs are absolutely gorgeous!!

  39. I was unable to download the pattern. Can you please send it to me. thank you

  40. Hi! I love this hat! I think it is super sweet. I am currently making it for my 22 month-old. I’m fairly new at crocheting, only about 18 months in, and am confused. Rd 2 ends up with 24 DC’s. Then, in Rd 3, you say to sk 2, and work in every 3rd DC, but 24/3 leaved you with 8 DC’s at the end of the Rd, not 12. Is is just me, and I missed something somewhere? I’m still working on my skills at reading patterns, so maybe I just missed something. Once I get the hat worked out, I’m hoping to buy the shirt pattern as well. Thanks!
    Kim

  41. thank you so much for all your work in getting my patterns to me. can’t wait to get started.

  42. Several people have tried to ask for help on row 3 of this hat> I see no response. I have spent 3 hours trying to figure this out. Can you please respond to our questions regarding row 3! I can not fit 12 dc’s. I only get 8. I am making this hat as a bday gift and am completely stuck!

  43. Hi Ladies,

I’m sorry it took me such long to back for this pattern and thank you for letting me know about mistake in Row 3. I’m working on this pattern now and will publish updated version just in a few.

    Thank you for your patience,
    Alla

  44. Im not understanding what the part under all sizes where it says Rnd (20, 23) and (21, 24) is all about. When I count the rnds after the 11-13 repeat twice it only comes to 19! I’m so confused!

  45. Alla,
I’m looking forward to trying the beautiful little girl’s hat. After reviewing the comments, there seemed to be a problem with round 3. Has this been corrected on the download. If not, would you send me the correction? Thank you,

  46. Please tell me how to download this stunning pattern

  47. Very nice patter. I made a cap with this pattern and a dress: http://miv-crochet.blogspot.com/2012/05/rochita-si-caciulita-red-heart.html

  48. I love this hat but it keeps getting bigger and not looking like a hat. With round 7, i get a lot more that 12 vst and 12dc. Not sure what i am doing wrong, I have 72 st in round 6 so that is right.
    Thanks for any insight!

  49. I am stuck on round 10. Can you please explain what the instruction “”single chain in ch-3 and ch4 sps of 2 previous rounds snatched together”". Thanks

  50. This hat is gourgeous!!! I am sorry, but i could not find your copyrights. Do I have your permission to sell hats made from this pattern, not the pattern itself ( not on-line)?
