Hand Knit Fur Cuffs – FREE pattern
August 29, 2008 | Filled under 2008, Creations, Free patterns, Patterns |
There is a funny story with these Fur Cuffs. I created them in 2004 as a
compromise between me and my Kristin. I wanted to make her coat with
fur collar and cuffs (1st pic below), but my 2 years Wonder did not look
excited about fur cuffs ;) So, I’ve made them removable and than found
that they work perfect as boot cuffs too…
Such a Fun accessories! Made from elastic cotton blend yarn and featured
feather-like yarn called Tecno hair that is very soft and silky. They can be
worn with any tops, jackets, turtlenecks. I also call them the Boot Inserts
and You can use them with ANY boots, whether high or ankle..
The eBook is available for download for FREE.

Kristin’s first sew project
August 21, 2008 | Filled under Kids |
Oh my, can I explain my feelings even if on my native language… but there is a first
sew project of my 6 1/2 years old and I feel SOO PROUD for my Sweet daughter!!!!!
She just finished her Organizer and I’m sure it’s the best thing in the world, isn’t?!:)
The funny moment was… when I’ve offered to Kristin try something, but crochet
she said: “No, THANKS mommy! Crocheting looks too boring for me” Do you think
it’s because of me, who practically never separating with crochet hook or knitting
needles during almost of my free time ;)

Rattlesnake Lake Hiking
August 13, 2008 | Filled under Life |
… I finally uploaded the pictures of one our last activity – the four miles
round Rattlesnake Ridge trail, pretty moderate with elevation gain of
1,175 feet, but some amazing views and memories.
It takes about two hours to complete and my friends and I (my DH
and Kristin waited us on the ground) so enjoined it!
Here are some pics, but not mine, because
I truly can’t explain why, but I HATE to be
pictured and DO NOT allow it to anyone…
Silly me, I know, but can’t help myself! LOL
… Oh my, and just look at our brave Julie,
I LOVE this shot so much (click to enlarge):
And here are some more:
… yeh, I was spotted here LOL:
… and here are my super comfty "hiking shoes" ;)
I think I shocked all hikers at that day – I never had
such number of "wonders" for my shoes!!! LOL
No kidding… As a person who was born in heels
shoes, I really can’t imagine myself without them
and must admit that Jacielynn Guess wedges are
SUPER comfortable for walking and I found that they
are just perfect for some hiking too ;)
