Multilingual support!

By friends requests and for all my dear readers in Russian I’ve added support for Russian language.
So from now on some posts are going to be in both languages. Not direct translation at not the same text, but I’ll try to stay in sync.
Though I have to admit that my English is never going to be as fluent as my Russian ;)

Hmm.. sounds interesting! Just ordered couple skeins, can’t wait to get it! I’m talking about a Corn Yarn by Kollage. In 28 yummy colors made from 100% Corn Fiber. “An incredible fiber! I’ve promised an explanation of my absence… and I promise I will back to my normal schedule and still blog, but OMG, my online time is definitely being sucked by Ravelry right now. Have you been there? Do you have your invite? Go, run, sign up for an invite and then go about your life and have patience. Many, many people are waiting for invites, but rest assured, ravelry is well worth the wait. It is a truly amazing knitting and crocheting community! I LOVE ravelry! I’ve met so many nice and talented people on there in the various groups. Can you believe, I’m a member of 28 raverly’s groups and truly enjoy it! ;)
This is the place where you can have a notebook with all of your projects – WIPS & FOs, with photos (from flickr) and details (yarn, pattern, pattern modifications). A place where you can have all of your stash yarn listed with photos and details (yes, details of fiber, manufacturer, yardage, weight, how many skeins you have). Oh and one of my favorite things about ravelry… searching! You can search to see what other ravelry members have made with a certain yarn OR you can search to see what yarns others have used to made a certain pattern. Here’s an awesome sneak peek that explains it all better than I could and a link to Unraveled, the ravelry blog, if you want to read even more.
Oh, and on the other note… I’ve done some patterns for my halters tops, which are testing now and will available for sale pretty soon!

Skiing season is opened and…

Happy OLD NEW YEAR to everyone who know what I mean ;)
We are just back from our little trip to “The Summit” at Snoqualmie where we and our friends enjoined our first NORDIC Cross-country skiing. Yeah, we realized that we are so beginners that we just played at small loop near restaurant LOL. Anyway, we’ve got a BLAST and definitely hooked! But Oh my, we were REALLY surprised by Kristin (our 6th year old daughter) and her good friend Dasha! I can’t believe how fast kids learn! Less then in a hour of practice they looked as experienced cross-country skiers (in our eyes at least :) )

A funny story about this Ladybug Top is that planned and started as OOAK Minnie Top, last minute Krsitin asked if it’s not too late to turn it into a Ladybug theme instead. Well, we’ve got lots of fun to “transform” it! LOL
