November 13, 2007 | Filled under Yarn |
One of the nicest bamboo yarns I’ve seen, super soft! A pleasure to work with and wear, at an affordable price.
Yardage: 109, Fiber Content: 60% Bamboo, 40% Cotton, Stitches: 5.5, Needle Size: 6US, Weight: 50 gr/1.75 oz
Color card:
DK weight, classic plied yarn that can be machine washed in cold temperatures and dried flat. Available in a nice selection of solid colors, "Bamboo" would be suitable for summer sweaters, baby things, mittens, or any garment..
- DK weight, 60% bamboo and 40% cotton
- SUPER soft and pleasant on the skin
- Machine washable in cold temperature
great places to buy: whole sale (orders can take up to 4-6 weeks, but amazing choice of yarn – one of my favorite stores); eBay stores.
Projects from this yarn (colors# 13; #4):
I would like to find a wholesaler that carries this. The site you gave doesn’t have any and I think I could do a great sale on it as it hard to find and your opinion really made me think that I should carry it. I always take a fellow yarnophile’s opinion over anything! Let me know.
Go to my website eBay store where I have a Yarn FYI and a ME page that explains my yarnophile ways :)

Please, would you have in store 1 ball of Katia bamboo, color 29? I don”t mind the dye.
Thanks
Can you please tell me another type of yarn to use, I am having a hard time finding the yarn you used. I tried the web sites you gave for the yarn. Thank You.
Hi Patty,
I would recommend Omega Sinfonia: http://creativeyarnsource.com/sinfonia.html
