Sneak Peek & Giveaway time

Below is a sneak peek of my newest crocheted summer hat with double brim, which can be worn in any ways you can think of! …And I have two little giveaways for you:

Yellow Hat

  1. First person, who guess a name of this Adorable little model (or just post her name – I bet lots of people know her ;o), will win the crocheted Poppy pin (shown on the picture). Please enter one guess per person.
  2. I am looking for the name of this hat. Any suggestion? Please post them here (feel free to post as many entries you would like). This giveaway starts today, March 7th 2011 and will end March 14nd, 2011 at Midnight PST time or until I find a right name for this hat ;o) The Winner will receive this sample hat (size 2 up to 6 years) or a kit of yarn (and the pattern right after it will be available) to make this hat by yourself and in any size you would like – fully up to your choice!

          Oh, Maureen, but you’ve said “ferry brisbane”, which is confused me since our Ferry’s last name is different. But please let me know her last name if you you mean our Lovely Ferry. I really would hate to make any confusion here!

    My imagination is running away with me, and I’m thinking that I’d tweak the pattern to even have 3 brims to curl… so how about “Brim-a-Lot” or “Brim Roll”.

    How about “Double Fun in the Sun”?. Double for the double brim, Fun for the many ways you can wear the hat, and Sun because it’s more of a Spring/Summer hat?

    California Sunrise, since the state flower of California is the poppy and the beautiful orange and white look like a sunrise.

    Since I saw the hat, it reminded me of my childhood, sunny summer days, golden wheat ready for harvest spotted with red poppies and white daises and ladybirds…

    For me it would be:”Summer Harvest Hat”.
