So, first is Columbia River Cable Hat for We Crochet magazine. I’m definitely hooked on crochet cables, done some designs and have tons of ideas, but my current To-Do-List is first 🙈🙃
COLUMBIA RIVER CABLE HAT
Named after the great Pacific Northwest river, the Columbia River Cable Hat is crocheted in a striking combination of popcorn stitches and post stitches that create a stunning allover pattern reminiscent of the swirls and eddies of a river.
Not only this hat is made with absolutely stunning Andean Treasure 100% baby alpaca yarn, but also pattern is available for free download at crochet.com.

Yarn Talk | Knit Picks Shine Sport

One of my all-time favorites, Shine Sport is a blend of 60% Pima Cotton and 40% Model (natural Beech wood fibre) which gives cotton a lustrous depth and silky appearance. It knits to a smooth and soft fabric and is perfect for baby and children’s garments and blankets as it’s machine washable as well. Finished projects have great drape, and feel really like silk.
And this yarn is super soft – love how it feels to work with it!

Now, each new version of Dream Catcher Blanket has own name.
The Dreamland blanket (reduced size shown) it’s all about love to puff stitches!!
Yarn used is Shine Sport by @knit_picks. It’s such intersting yarn I worked with for several projects. I’ll post about under “Yarn Talk” on Friday.
