Ethno Chic Crocheted Vest. Preview

It was such a Fun to work on something special for my daughter by her request and we both are so glad with result! Not to mention it’s always a pleasure to work with Ultra Pima by Cascade Yarns. Their quality of yarn and color shades are just amazing! The only thing… I found that this kind of cotton is a bit heavy for this design, so probably I’ll try to find something similar, but cotton blend with bamboo or wool – let me see. And I think to work on a coat version too since I really love this lace pattern ;o)
More new designs are coming pretty soon… I still need to take the the pictures and sure write the patterns. Well, I’ll keep you updated!

Thank you, Judy and Tina for your kind of words and interest in this pattern. It will be the first pattern (for vest and coat) I’ll work for spring’2012 releases – I promise! Now I’m on half way with pattern for my newest poncho/skirt 2 in 1 project (still need to take pictures), then I plan to work on crochet version of Grinch jacket and on new design & pattern for Fall collection. And after that I’m going to hurry back to some projects for publications I’ve submited… gosh, I still dream to have more than 24 hours ;)
I still wish to have more than 24 hours in a day too! lol Are you planning to have the Pinwheel pattern in time for Spring 2012 also? You have so many ideas! This lace pattern is beautiful, and the Cascade Ultra Pima is awesome yarn to work with! I have been using it for a few projects, in fact, I am using it for one of the colors in the Ice Cream Social Halter…I will have to show you when it is done. ;) Cascade makes some of the best yarns; they are one of my favorites! :D
Yes, I’ll do my best to add Pinwheel top pattern – I’m on the 80% way with it so far, but because of the motifs specific I still need to make couple more swatches to be sure my match is done correctly ;)

Can you perhaps give me some sites adress to see what is the newest fashion for girls – for 2 days Im on the net and can’t find something that indicate the newest fashion for girls from 5 – 12 years.
