Featured Yarn 30. Cascade Yarns. Sierra. Cotton blend
August 3, 2010 | Filled under Yarn |
One of my true favorite yarn for fall/winter projects and this season is not
exception. I was wonder that I did not post about Cascade Sierra yet ;o)
Sierra from Cascade Yarns is a worsted weight fiber made up of 80% pima
cotton and 20% wool. Cotton gives this yarn comfort as well as less weight.
Wool wicks moisture from skin, adds loft, memory and gives better fit.
Available in a large array of solid colors, this yarn can be used year around
for pullovers, cardigans, shells, wraps, hats, scarves, handbags and much
more.
great places to buy: here, here, here and make sure to check
eBay stores.
What a lovely array of colors!

what is your prefered yarn for spring and summer?
I love Katia Bamboo or Tahki Cotton classic for knitting and Catania, Sandnes Mandarin Petit or Dale of Norway STORK for crocheting. BTW, Cascade just released Ultra Pima (100g – 220yds) Cant wait to try it!
