We are back
July 31, 2009 | Filled under Life |
… from our two days trip to Las Vegas. We visited it for the first time and
we had a Blast for sure… but I’ve got a strange feeling is that even if all
these “stuff” are PROP… and you’re probably not a kind of that Romantic
person … anyways, you would never disprove that Vegas is such colorful
and festive city ;o) Well, let’s go to some pictures “trip”… below are views
of Bellagio hotel and how “Paris” looks like from our room…
… We arrived VERY late on Monday and since Kristin was too tired, we did
not have activities that night… But in a morning.. FIRST, we’re so enjoined
to swim in a such warm pool that I would never expect; then we’ve got
great breakfast time and a little shopping… Even if there are no big Fan of
shopping in our family, it was interesting to compare stuff and we found…
that for example my favorite Black and White House market and Cache
offered items available only online here, in WA, and some of them came
with really great deals… well, it’s logical ;o)
Then met Igor’s cousin and walked along strip (mainly in the car :o)
… Later in the evening we watched Mystere by Cirque du Soleil, a MAIN
reason I always wanted to visit Las Vegas. Unfortunately there was no
show O available during our visit, but we will back for sure! I can’t believe
that people have such Phenomenal possibilities and such Incredibly artistic!
They do things you couldn’t imagine… Absolutely Awe-inspiring!!
Next day, after morning swimming, we drove to Red Rock Canyon
(Love the panoramic picture Igor took!) A PLACE I would definitely come
back for some trails!!
P.S.: Oh and you know why I did not mention that 109 “Las Vegas” degrees
at all?!! :o) Can you believe it, but when we came back to Seattle, the
temperature was almost the same as in Las Vegas but we don’t have
conditioners here LOL! I mean houses in Seattle never have conditioners
initially. We don’t need them according to local weather… not sure I think
so ;o)
Welcome back Alla! Sounds like you had a great time. I believe in Air Conditioners no matter where you live! lol They say you are not supposed to need them, living near the ocean like we do, but there are days that it reaches over 90 degrees, and even if it is only sometimes, on those days, it is needed!
I have wanted to see Cirque du Soleil for so long! I used to love going to Las Vegas to see the architechture of the buildings, the night lights, and the great food. I just don’t like any more because of all the smoking in the s; it makes your clothing smell like smoke, yuck! Besides, I have asthma and I am allergic to the smoke; so you can imagine what a hard time I have breathing there. So, I never go anymore. :(
Glad to see you back. Are you ready to get back to work? lol ttys (((HUGS)))
