Hello, March!!

Hello, March!! Spring is in the air 🌷🌱

What are your favorite first spring flowers? My definitely are snowdrops 🥰

Dream Catcher New Versions | Sneak Peak №1

It seems that the Dream Catcher blanket is the second most popular after Fluffy Clouds. Thank you so much, I am so glad you love it!! 🥰

And some of you, having crocheted 2-3 blankets, ask if there will be other variations. Other ladies ask if it possible to replace Horizontal Puff stitch with another one, because they found Horizontal Puff stitch a bit difficult. And also, from a lady in Australia, I got a request to make a summer version of the Dream Catcher blanket…

Sure, I couldn’t resist to play with new varieties…and as a result, I made enough (or better to say, – more than enough) versions for your pleasure, and plus instructions will be provided for almost any yarn weight: from fingering to bulky.

So, a version №1 of Dream Catcher is pretty simple: by your request, Horizontal Puff Stitch is substituted by Popcorn stitch. Sample made with Brava Bulky yarn by @wecrochetofficial (Knit Picks).

Stay tuned and have a lovely day! 🥰

My To Do List

My To Do List 💪🏻
But, first, a little weekend trip and the final homework for the current course.
BTW, which of these instructions will you wait … if any? If not, which design you wish to include in my schedule?
Have a lovely weekend!!! 🥰🥰🥰

My First Live Mimosa in the Last 20 Years!

Seriously, mimosa doesn’t grow in Seattle, but every early spring I have a mimosa-obsession and look for it wherever possible, even tried to grow a tree, but without success. But, I planted chocolate mimosa last year – an absolutely unique plant (I will show you later)

And to my fully amazement, I saw in @svetsvet.io (make sure to check this lovely blog!) stories – a real mimosa on The London Plane cafe street …

Oh my, it’s an almost forgotten smell and pure eye candy!
It’s funny, the same day we got the mimosa it snowed (a kind of local “Armageddon” here ;o)).

I’ll leave here photos of mimosa and a short video with my favorite hummingbirds to show you, and just for memories of February, 13th 2021.

Have a lovely day!! 🥰🥰🥰

26 New Designs, Are You Ready?! ;o)

I told you that I was enough creative last year and yes, 26 new designs are waiting for you … but I won’t show them until:
1️⃣ I will not finish at least 5 instructions I promissed (few of them I own since 2015 🙈)
2️⃣ I have to realize that I have to write 26 new patterns and try to not create new designs.

And, if the first task is feasible, then the second sounds more than a challenge, and I think we will break this rule time to time 😉

So, let’s start with such simple, but versatile neck wormer/chemisette—my ABSOLUTE favorite accessory I even made for myself (all three shown – are mine ;o))

New Vision. New Me. New Avatar ;o)

***UPDATE:
Thanks so much to everyone for voting and advices. I’ll definitely count them in future attempts!
So, the winner is photo #1 … and I bet that is because I forgot to offer an option #3: neither one 🙃
P.S.: Oh, and comment “ А сколько различий нужно найти на этих картинках? 😜 (how many differences we have to find in these pictures)” just made my day 😅
_______

Hi guys!!! It’s not so easy to come back after almost a year away from here, but I miss you and I have tons of news to share!

I bet many of us have had ups and downs in 2020 and spent the year differently from what was planned. I disappeared from social networks, but was more productive than ever with work on new designs, finished a lot of courses and webinars on topics that were always interesting, but I always did not have enough time.. As well, we are totally re-organazed our home, everyday life and some habits.

One of the latest “achievements” – just couple days ago, I made first selfies for the avatar in my mini studio. Of course, I still have to learn how to set-up light and edit portrait photos, but if count that I hate to be pictured, it’s truly was a challenge for me 😎

… And, now there is a dilemma – which photo to choose: 1️⃣ or 2️⃣ ?! Help, please! ;o)

PS: A special Thanks for the background © HAKINMHAN Dreamstime.com! The warm morning water with a lemon, the desire to see such a blue sky in Seattle every morning, the expectation of spring – everything is what making me happy!
