Dryad Scarf | Pattern Update + 4 Days Deal!

Fall-1

Oh, I can’t describe how I am happy to find that my Dryad Scarf released in 2012 is still loved, and my heart is totally melt with such your amazing comments and interest! Thank you so much my dears from bottom from my heart!!!

“Fun, lovely scarf! The different textures make it interesting to crochet and to look at. In terms of the printed pattern itself – it’s the most thoughtfully designed of any I’ve ever purchased.”

“Alla, you have done it again! You’ve designed a unique, beautiful, creative pattern to transport away from the ordinary! I can’t wait to make it!”

“While I sat at the hospital waiting for my Mother who was having surgery, I made up this scarf in a variegated teal and solid teal. (Aunt Lydia’s Fashion 3 thread, I live in Texas so I don’t need a warm scarf). It was so much fun to do and it turned out absolutely wonderful! Now I have to make 2 more for the sweet nurses who took care of my Mother!! Thank you so much for sharing your creativity with us. I will return for more purchases as I have a new Granddaughter on the way!!”

“I am absolutely in love with this pattern and will be purchasing!!! — Never thought green could look so good, lol, but I love it!!! Thank you!”

“I love loVE LOVE this scarf! And other things you do. I am a fine artist and when not painting I love to crochet. Right now I am a starving artist. LOL. But as soon as I sell another painting you will see me back to get the pattern for this scarf and the ” My Little CityGirl” one. Have a wonderful day and keep creating! Skye”

“I made this scarf for my daughter at Christmas – it turned out absolutely beautiful. Thank you for continuing to provide such lovely patterns! You’re amazing!”

“Cada día me es mas grato ver sus MARAVILLOSOS tejidos, los colores que usted utiliza hace que den ganas de tejer y crear aunque no queden tan hermosos como los suyos Cariños desde Chile”

Soooooo…

I decided to make a little “makeup” to the pattern:

  • Scarf Stitch Diagram and layout were adapted to my current style
  • Were added 2 tutorials: How To Carry Yarn in Crochet, Two Ways To Crochet Picot & technical pages: Glossary, Terms, Conversion Chart, Yarn Substitution chart, Yarn Care Symbols Chart.
  • Writing instruction without the changes, which mean there are no any typos or mistakes still.

The pattern in the process to be sent to everyone who purchased it at Ravelry, Etsy and my Pattern shop. I’ll do my best to sent an updated version to everyone, but in case if I miss someone, please let me know, and I’ll be glad to send your updated version right away.

… AND, I have a DEAL for You!! For 4 Days Only, this pattern is available for FREE download on Ravelry! This offer expires Sunday, August 27th at 12:59 pm PST time.

Dryad Scarf

Be a tree spirit for the day when you wrap yourself in this enchanting two-tone scarf! Made to match the Dryad Vest, this lovely accessory features elegant openwork stitches and shell patterns. Loops of chain stitches are worked down the center of the piece for a striking contrast, while picot trim adorns the straight edge and the shells on the opposite side. Fringe or pompoms attached at the scarf ends will ensure a perfect drape!

The design is suitable for any sport weight yarn, and made with pima cotton or bamboo blend it will have a wonderfully soft and smooth texture. Watch it reflect the light like leaves in the sun!
