I’ll try this one, I’ll give it a shot. I’m a very crafty person that’s why your website really got my interest since i love DIY stuffs. I did many crafts during my early years but I never really learned how to crochet… sigh.

Beautiful job!! Do you think that this would work with sock yarn? Thanks!

  6. 6
    Alla says:

Why not ?! ;) With sock yarn the scarf supposed to be thinner, but delicate. I would try.

    Toryssa says:

I started the scarf and my first circle is so tight that it’s wavy. This made me stop and question. Also, if I begin with chain 18, then join with slip stitch one ch. from the hook, that leaves a long chained tail… where does that go?

  9. 9
    Alla says:

Toryssa, Thank you so much for letting me know. It was a typo and should join with sl st in 1st ch, which is 18th from from hook. I’ve just updated pattern. Thank you again, Alla

I love this scarf, it is beautiful.

I was wondering if it is warm enough for a really cold winter day or more of a looksy scarf. Either way I love it I just was wondering so I know what season to make it for. Thanks!

    Mary says:

I made this scarf for my daughter as a gift for Christmas, it turned out wonderful. She always wears long scarves, and this one she doubled it up, it became a warm gathering of ruffles at her neck. Thanks for a great pattern.

Thank-you so much for sharing this pattern! It is very kind and generous of you. I have just completed this scarf, It is my first crochet project, apart from a few granny squares. I was a little apprehensive about trying to follow a pattern, but I found your pattern easy to understand and fun to do. Many thanks!

    Tasha says:

I am just curious… your pattern says to continue the motif 24 times… how do you get the rounded medallion on the other side of the scarf is this is the case? (so that each end looks identical). Love this scarf!

    • Denise says:

      Hi Tasha,
Did you ever get an answer to your question? I am in the middle of making this scarf and I have the exact same question. I didn’t see a reply in this forum so I thought I would ask you. How did yours turn out? So far, mine is really pretty!

A friend showed me this pattern and i ended up making the circles and loops tighter and it became a ruffling, twisting pretty scarf.. My sister loved it when she got it for her birthday :D

    Carolyn L Millard says:

This pattern is absolutely fantastic. I just finished it today. It took me less than 2 days to make, off and on. I used Caron Simply soft in Pistaschio and Elann light mohair in cream held together. It made a soft, delicate tweedy look. Your written directions and blueprint diagram were clear and concise. As you said, looks complicated but uses basic stitches. Thank you for your generosity in allowing us to use your designs.

Love this scarf…but I’m beating my head up against a wall trying to find the same yarn. I really like the colours you used! I’ve looked up and down Lana Grossa Stella’s site to no gain. Could you give me the name of the colour used? Thanks a million!

    Nina says:

I am very grateful for this scarf! Thank you very much!

    Renae says:

I absolutely LOVE this pattern, and it’s beautiful in every yarn I’ve tried so far, but do you know of any way to modify the pattern to make the inner circles smaller?

    • Alla says:

Thank you so much Renae!! The best way to modify the pattern to make circles smaller is create another stitch pattern with smaller circles ;) Let me see if I have a bit free time to design it for you. For this one – you can crochet circles or smaller flowers and attach them into inner circles.
