I absolutely LOVE black and white! It is practically my whole wardrobe most of the time. This is one of the six items you were working on not too long ago, right? I love the way it turned out. Are you making patterns for all of those items in the pictures, or are you working on last years items for patterns? I would love to see these items for patterns as well, even if it is for 2009. Gorgeous, Alla!

Me too and it’s about 90% of my wardrobe since soooo long time ;)
Yes, Sweetie! It’s one of that 6 and I just still need to picture another sweaters, which done too.

Uhh… for pattern is a hard question LOL I planned to write at least 6-8 patterns for last years designs, but feel like too later to offer all of them this season. So, I’m trying to complete most requested patterns for fall/winter stuff and than start to work on spring/summer designs/pattern to be timely with them at least ;) I’ll keep you updated!

I still don’t know how you are able to do so much without your hands falling off! LOL

Out of the sweaters that you have made the patterns that I would love to see the most of are The Grinch, Miss Spider, and Urban Couture. I love them all, and would love to see the Minnie Mouse and Ragedy Ann too, but I know you are also so busy with creating new designs. I know you will sell everything you make. You are the best children’s designer for crochet/knit that I have ever seen! Just don’t get too tired from all of the demand from your fans! ;)

    Sarah,

I learned to knit by using a website that teaches you how to knit in two different styles. I wasn’t able to knit for years! I tried, and I tried, but I could not pick it up! When I found http://www.knittinghelp.com I found out there was another way to knit called the “Continental Method” which is more like crocheting. Check it out, it is not hard at all! And you can believe me when I say this, because until I found this out, I tried for years. Now, I am able to knit Alla’s patterns, and I am so happy that I learned. It makes creating so much more fun and interesting to be able to do both!

I will definitely check the site out. I actually got one of those “I taught myself to knit” kits. Well it took me forever to make one little swatch. So I got mad and said I would never try it again. But… how could I give up the chance to be able to make all these lovely tops and jackets Alla has?! So I am determined… anything will help. Thanks for the link.
